This is a botanical walk to enjoy this species rich flora including some SSSI areas. We’ll be covering several different compartments of the site with a focus mainly on drier areas of short acid grassland where we’ll be looking for species such as Mossy Stonecrop Crassula tillaea, Upright Chickweed Moenchia erecta, Suffocated Clover Trifolium suffocatum, Bird’s-foot Clover Trifolium ornithopodioides and Hoary Cinquefoil Potentilla argentea. 113 Dorset Notables including 19 species on the Dorset Rare Plant Register have been recorded here in recent years.
