Wednesday 6th August (date changed from 7th August).
This site is very botanically rich, so we expect to see a wide range of plants.
We will be revisiting an area in the eastern part of the site last surveyed by Dorset
Flora Group members in August 2017 when we recorded over 100 species
including: Brown-beak Sedge Rhyncospora fusca, Coral-necklace Illecebrum
verticillatum, Mossy Stonecrop Crassula tillaea, Allseed Linum radiola, Marsh
Clubmoss Lycopodiella inundata and Slender Sedge Carex lasiocarpa. We’ll see if
we can re-find these species and others and hopefully add to the species list for this
site.
