Walk to enjoy the early botanical display at this expansive SSSI. The likely focus will be rare
acid grassland and the network of tracks where Green-winged orchid, unusual clovers and
specialist annuals are expected. To include counts of Small Adder’s-tongue fern at its only
known sites in East Dorset and the possibility of re-examining historic ones. We will be
joining forces with the Avon Heath rangers and volunteers.
