Dorset Flora Group: Hambledon Hill, Child Okeford – Early Gentian Survey

Friday 5th June

Walkover survey around the ramparts of Hambledon Hill alongside the National Trust’s North Dorset Ecology Volunteer Group to survey for the beautiful, but diminutive, Early Gentian Gentianella anglica amongst the rich chalk flora of the hillfort.

When: 10am – 2/3pm.

Please bring a packed lunch and drinks. There are no facilities available on the hill itself, but the nearby village of Child Okeford has a pub and a village shop.
