The NT North Dorset Ecology Group surveyed for Early Genans last year on the
hill and found good numbers in some areas, and disappoinng in others! We’re
basing our surveys on Bryan Edward’s 1997 suite of surveys where he surveyed
many Dorset sites for the plant. Last year we were able to survey the Western
slopes of the hill, so we will be primarily focussing on the top of the hillfort and
the eastern ramparts this year.
